The National Training Team are running a Train the Trainer workshop on the weekend of 2 & 3 June 2018 in Stoke on Trent.Learning is something we all do, all of our active lives. Learning new skills opens up fresh understanding, makes life more rewarding and keeps your mind active and more nimble in the process. What does it take then to be a really good trainer?Enjoying helping others is fundamental (Caring). Willingness to use and improve in the use of a range of simple, practical training techniques (Self-observant, seeking high standards). Checking your delivery results in learning outcomes that are effective for all (Behaving as the ‘Guide on the side’, not acting as the ‘Star on the stage’). Working in harmony with other Trainers in the National (training) Delivery Team, both near and far, to raise the standards and pleasure of RAYNET membership (Shaping the future).
Training then is not only for acquiring new skills, but its power can challenge, even defeat, negative attitudes, whilst fostering harmony and teamwork. The reward and pride of knowing how much you’ve added to your friends and colleagues enjoyment of membership, is rightfully all yours to take away.
If you’d like to feel that good about yourself and don’t mind a bit of work to get there,
Why not come and join us . . . ?
